Infomedia is partnering with veteran Birmingham blogger Wade Kwon and Birmingham Blogging Academy to offer blog design, development and training for corporate websites. Blogging gives businesses a cost-efficient marketing edge, and the best-performing sites enable a natural flow of communication that builds business. Communications consultant and Birmingham Blogging Academy founder Wade Kwon will show attendees how to set goals for their sites, develop content and promote it.

A Birmingham native, Kwon started his award-winning blog Wade on Birmingham in 2005, and has worked with Time Inc. and Scripps-Howard on blogging and new media. Kwon was selected as one of 35 Influential People in Social Media by the Poynter Institute. Birmingham Magazine readers selected him as Best Tweeter in the Best of Birmingham 2010 online poll.  He is a founding board member of the Alabama Social Media Association, a nonprofit group dedicated to educating people about social media. 

The workshop will be held on Thursday, June 23rd, from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm. The cost to attend is $35 per participant and limited seating is available.
